I make comics in the East Bay where I am transplanted with my partner and our Berkeley-born kiddo. I draw from my experiences working in Emergency Medicine at a public hospital, parenting while genderqueer, being in love with a radical sociologist; at all times trying to keep it intersectional.

My work is autobiographical and includes fictionalized accounts of real life experiences. No actual patients, hospital personnel or people in my life are depicted in my comics without permission. These are my own thoughts and perspectives, and not those of any of my employers.
At times I deal with sensitive and complex topics and I am attempting to do so thoughtfully, with consideration for all the various people and communities who are represented in my work. If you feel that I've fallen short of the mark in any of these areas, I would like to hear from you.
